It's a nice anvil for beginner blacksmiths. Sturdy enough to sustain continuous 1.5kg hammer blows without showing signs of wear. The paint gradually comes off with usage, but that's just a cosmetic aspect (and, if I dah to be honest, the bright blue paint is plain ugly).
Rebound is good enough for 300g-800g hammers. However, when it comes to heavier blows like 1.5kg hammers, it doesn't help as much.
The anvil is a bit noisy, especially if you hit the horns. A quick fix for the noise is to stick a strong magnet to the end of the horns to reduce high-pitch vibrations.
I would highly suggest you place this anvil on a heavy base that can hold it still, since it tends to wander around when hit with a heavy hammer.
Also, I'm currently working on some upgrades like welding a wider base to the anvil legs to increase both weight and stability.
